Article 7. Standing Committees
7.1 Fellowship Committee: shall oversee postgraduate scholarships, including fundraising, selection of candidates, and any other business as deemed necessary for the proper administration of this program.
7.2 Scientific Program Committee: shall organize the scientific content of the Annual Scientific Meeting (????WHAT ABOUT THE PEDIATRIC COMPONENT OF CDA/CSEM????)

Does anyone think that there should be a Nominating Committee to prepare a slate of candidates for upcoming open positions? Should an existing Executive member chair it? Should it just be a duty of the President to appoint a slate of candidates? Should someone (the Secretary?) have the duty to manage a nominations procedure for the general membership to participate? Past Hx has been the cajoling of the reluctant, and my guess is that this will likely continue, but this is our chance to "officialize" a mechanism to permit nomminations from outside the "inner circle" and to set the ground rules for contested elections. Thoughts?
